I went to Nashville three times in 2024. Not for music—but for my mom.

She passed in April, and somewhere along I-40, her voice came back to me. The things she used to say turned into lyrics.

I brought those words home and worked with Shawn Fussell to shape them into a song. It’s called What Momma Always Said.
